SAVANNA ENERGY SERVICES (Drilling) Rigs #656, 802 & 803

With Savanna Drilling increasing its hold on technology and wanting to stay in the modern day fold they manufactured a new concept with the Velox style rig and upgraded their fleet with a couple of AC automated triples and added another AC Tele-Double. ARP was partnered with Installation and commissioning on AC Tele-Double, Velox-360 and AC Triple rig packages.
Included in these rigs were 3-3512 generators, Varco Topdrive integration, 1600 Hp Triplex Mud pumps, festoon systems and automated walking packages, also included with integrating the Bloom & Voss Iron Roughneck wrench, these were 1200 & 1500 Hp drawworks packages. Complete Drivehouse manufacturing and drillers cabin, Rigs located in both Canada and USA.

With the changing technologies and advancements in the oil industry some of the existing rigs require upgrades to stay competitive as the case with Rig 640 in Pennsylvania, adding a Cable crawler system so the rig is able to skid ahead and not have to re-connect or move the main complex.
