These rules will govern the overall conduct of each worker. Workers will adhere to these basic rules and report violations of same by other workers to management.
1. Right to Refuse Unsafe Work – Every employee has the right and the obligation to refuse work that an employee believes is unsafe or feels he /she is not qualified to conduct.
2. Housekeeping – Housekeeping is as much an attitude as a condition. Good housekeeping, which includes both cleanliness and orderliness, often indicates a well-run operation. Good housekeeping can help prevent fires, eliminate tripping and slipping hazards and chemical contact. Good housekeeping also demonstrates respect for others; no one wants to be left with someone else’s mess. Housekeeping pertains to shops and works sites.

3. Drugs and Alcohol – At no time will a worker of ARP Automation Controls Inc. consume, ingest, have possession of, or inject any alcohol, illegal drug of prescribed substance that will impair their ability to perform the assigned job task.
4. Smoking – Smoking will only be allowed in areas specifically designated as a smoking area. Persons whom choose to smoke will take into consideration of fellow workers rights and safety.
5. Vehicle Operation – At no time will any worker or contractor operate a vehicle in a manner that will be non-compliant to the rules of the road or customer.
6. Horse Play – Fighting, horse play, or practical jokes that interfere with the safety of any worker, will not be tolerated on any location or job site.
7. Unsafe Acts – Unsafe acts or near-misses that occur on a location or job site will be reported to management.
8. Hazards – Hazards will be brought to the attention of management, both verbally and in writing.
9. First Aid – First aid treatment will be obtained for any injury sustained by the worker, and then reported to management.
10. Personal Protective Equipment – Required Personal Protective Equipment will be worn by all workers where such equipment will provide protection from known and potential hazards.
